Industrial Casper Wyoming Wedding in a Hangar

Getting Ready

We met up with Emma and her bridesmaids at Rootz Salon and Spa in Casper. The ladies celebrated the morning festivities by popping open a bottle of champagne and mixing some mimosas. What morning wouldn't be complete without a coffee run? With their hair all done, the girls headed to the Starbucks Emma used to work at, where she was greeted with cheers from her excited co-workers. Coffee in hand, the party moved on to Emma's parent's house to finish getting ready.

First Look + Portraits

The first look is one of our favorite parts of the day. We love watching the anticipation build and the joy and excitement that rushes in. Chandler and Emma's was no exception. You could tell just from watching these two how absolutely in love they were with each other.

High Noon

During the wedding day, our primary goal is to be as flexible and stress-free as possible. Sometimes that means shooting at less than ideal times of day. While most of our portfolio images happen during the earliest or latest hours of the day, we are confident we can create images we are proud of no matter the time of day. For Chandler and Emma's wedding, the schedule worked out better to do their portraits at midday, and we honestly couldn't be happier with the images we were able to create with them!

Ceremony

After a killer portrait session at Casper Mountain, we left for the ceremony location, a retrofitted hangar.

The Hangar Bar and Grill

Built in 1927, "The Hangar" served as part of the Wardwell Field, a now abandoned airfield that now makes up Bar Nunn, WY, located seven miles north of Casper. The hanger's wide open space, original brick walls and steel framing created a perfectly industrial backdrop for this beautiful wedding.

Details and Reception

We love a good party and this wedding definitely did not disappoint! The large hangar bay made for a perfect reception area and dance floor. As the sun set, we stole Chandler and Emma to do a couple more portraits out on the Wyoming plains before heading back in to party the rest of the night away!
