Intimate Indian Elopement in the Desert - St. George, Utah

Roman and Afsana

Afsana is originally from Nepal; Roman is originally from Ukraine. They met in Southern Utah at a party hosted by a mutual friend.  Due to circumstances they got married under short notice and weren't able to have a ceremony or get dressed up for formal pictures. We wanted to give them that opportunity, so we reached out to them to see if they were interested in a vow exchange out in the desert. We did much of the styling and tried to put something special together for them. Afsana is natively from Nepal, so we wanted to incorporate that into the style. We had her friend, Kylee, apply the henna designs for her mehndi and she wore her favorite traditional saree. We drove out into the desert west of Saint George, Utah. They shared some celebratory champagne, danced, and laughed together and as the sun began to disappear beyond the horizon, under the shade of Joshua Tree, they exchanged their vows to one another.
