Western Fall Wedding - Staheli Family Farm, St. George, UT

From the Bride+Groom:

We have known each other since kindergarten, we grew up going to church and church camp together. We had lots of opportunities to get to know each other, but it wasn't until we were in our 20's that he asked me out while he was on leave from the Air Force. We talked or texted everyday after he left until he came home after being honorably discharged.

8 months after his return home, he took me to the same place overlooking the city that he'd taken me to a year prior to dance to Frank Sinatra in the headlights. We danced to some Frank Sinatra and before I knew what was happening, he got down on one knee and proposed. And I said. "Yes! absolutely yes!"

We both love the outdoors and autumn and are a little redneck at heart, so we wanted a farm or a ranch, something naturally beautiful that we could add personal touches too. We had our ceremony in the field as the sun set. We wanted to keep the details simple and meaningful, I had one of Derek's Air Force name patches sewn into the inside of my dress and I wore the same perfume he had given me for our first Christmas together.  We had a friend and her bluegrass band play live music for the first half of the reception and it gave the whole setting an incredibly personal and fun atmosphere. Hannah had one of our close friends, who happens to be a professional knife maker, make me a custom straight razor and I had all of my groomsmen bring their guns for our pictures.
